Welding Processes including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW, for carbon steels, alloy steels,
stainless steels and aluminum materials.
• Welding conforms to ASME section IX, AWS D1.1, and other procedures
as required
by customer specifications and other application criteria.
• G.M.F. has developed may innovative methods to accomplish high quality
fitting and welding by the use of specially designed fixtures for work piece
control. The use of fixtures whenever possible provides excellent dimentional
stability
and repeatability for a high quality product.
• Work piece sizes range from a part that fits easily in the hand to
40-foot
long Mast Structures used for mining equipment.

Part
quality is monitored by rigid inspection detail parts, fit up, first article
inspection and in-process weld inspection which includes visual and non-destructive
examination. Radiology is available through the use of pre-approved, certified
sub contractors. 
GMF
offers a Finished Painting to any stage of completion to customer specifications
in either of our two painting facilities.
GMF
offers Final Assembly to any stage of completion from idea conception to the final
product being shipped to its destination as a completed product.
A
detailed drawing can be produced with customer furnished specifications in our
AutoCAD Drafting Department. 
All
CNC Laser, Punch, Burning, Lathes and Milling Equipment are programmed by our
Programming Department. The software is designed to optimize material, time,
and ensures accurate manufactured parts to our customers' specifications and
drawings. 
GMF
can machine a part to close tolerance specifications on our CNC mills and lathes
or our Manual mills and lathes. No part is to small or to large for our machining
capabilities. GMF can make it happen.
